Imagine Dragons baru saja merilis lagu baru yang berjudul Bones pada Jumat (11/03/2022). Ini menjadi lagu pertama yang dirilis oleh Imagine Dragons untuk album terbaru mereka “Mercury – Act 2”.
Lagu rock dengan heavy tempo ini diproduksi oleh Mattman & Robin. Bones menggambarkan kehidupan manusia yang bisa dengan mudah usai kapan saja.
“Bones merupakan sebuah refleksi dari obsesiku pada kematian dan kerapuhan hidup. Aku selalu mencari bukti yang menyakinkanku bahwa ada sesuatu yan glebih dari ini – bahwa hidup itu abadi dalam arti tertentu. Aku belum menemukannya, jadi aku membayangkan seperti apa kematian di satu lagu,” ujar Dan Reynolds, vokalis Imagine Dragons.
Bones menjadi bagian dari album “Mercury – Act 2” yang segera dirilis. Sementara itu, Imagine Dragons telah merilis “Mercury – Act 1” yang diproduksi oleh Rick Rubin dan dirilis pada 2021.
Awal tahun ini, Imagine Dragons juga sempat membagikan Enemy, single yang menjadi lagu tema untuk serial animasi Netflix berjudul Arcane.
