Kawula Muda, ENHYPEN dan aespa juga memenangi penghargaan dalam ajang ini.
Ajang penghargaan Gaon Chart Music Awards ke-11 telah berlangsung dengan sukses pada 27 Januari 2022 di Jamsil Arena, Korea Selatan. Penghargaan musik yang dipandu oleh JaeJae, Sieun STAYC, dan Doyoung NCT ini dihadiri oleh sejumlah idol K-Pop ternama.
IU dan BTS mendominasi perolehan piala. IU berhasil membawa pulang lima piala sedangkan BTS membawa pulang Artist of the Year untuk third quarter berkat “Butter”, kategori Social Hot Star of the Year, dan sejumlah penghargaan lainnya.
Sementara itu, dua rookie grup yaitu ENHYPEN dan aespa berhasil memenangi penghargaan untuk kategori World Rookie of the Year.
Gaon Chart Music Awards memberikan penghargaan terhadap para pemenang berdasarkan hasil penjurian terhadap penampilan para artis selama periode Desember 2020 hingga November 2021.
Untuk kategori Artist of the Year dibagi menjadi musik digital dan album fisik. Penghargaan musik digital diberikan untuk lagu dengan jumlah unduhan dan streaming digital tertinggi untuk setiap bulan dari Desember 2020 hingga November 2021.
Sementara itu, penghargaan album fisik diberikan untuk album dengan penjualan tertinggi untuk setiap kuartal selama periode yang sama.
Gaon Music Chart merupakan data yang dibuat oleh Korea Music Content Association dan disponsori oleh Kementerian Budaya, Olahraga, dan Turisme Korea Selatan.
