Kawula Muda, Olivia Rodrigo jadi musisi paling berjaya di ajang penghargaan ini.
Ajang penghargaan iHeartRadio Music Awards 2022 telah sukses digelar pada Selasa (22/03/2022). Sejumlah musisi berhasil meraih penghargaan bergengsi di ajang tersebut, salah satu di antaranya adalah Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, dan juga Dua Lipa.
Di ajang penghargaan yang berlangsung di Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat itu, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, dan Dua Lipa berhasil memenangi kategori utama yaitu Song of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, dan juga Male Artist of the Year.
Olivia bahkan menjadi salah satu musisi paling berjaya di ajang tersebut karena sukses menyabet sejumlah penghargaan dari kategori lainnya yaitu Best New Pop Artist dan juga TikTok Bop of the Year berkat lagu good 4 u.
iHeartRadio Music Awards 2022 dipandu oleh LL Cool J dan dimeriahkan oleh sejumlah musisi dunia seperti Megan Thee Stallion, Jason Aldean, John Legend, Charlie Puth, Maneskin, hingga Jennifer Lopez.
Tahun ini, J-Lo telah terpilih sebagai penerima penghargaan khusus yaitu Icon Award. Sementara itu, boygroup BTS yang mendapatkan nominasi di kategori Best Duo/Group of the Year harus kalah dari Bruno Mars dan Anderson .Paak yang tergabung di Silk Sonic.
BTS berhasil membawa pulang piala dari kategori Best Fan Army serta Best Music Video berkat lagu mereka yang berjudul Butter.
